Renault ha anunciado el lanzamiento de su nuevo modelo deportivo eléctrico, el Renault 5 Turbo 3E, una reinterpretación moderna del legendario R5 Turbo y Turbo 2 de los años 80. Con 540 caballos de potencia y una arquitectura de 800 voltios, esta máquina busca establecer una nueva categoría: la de los mini-superdeportivos eléctricos.
El Renault 5 Turbo 3E combina una estética nostálgica con tecnologías de vanguardia. Mantiene el espíritu agresivo de sus predecesores con un diseño compacto de 4,08 metros de largo, pero con una anchura de 2,03 metros, propia de los superdeportivos. Entre sus características destacan una estructura de fibra de carbono, una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h en menos de 3,5 segundos y una autonomía superior a los 400 kilómetros, según el ciclo WLTP.

Diseño y rendimiento de alto nivel
Inspirado en los clásicos R5 Turbo, el 3E cuenta con una carrocería ensanchada y aerodinámica optimizada. En el frontal destacan sus icónicos faros cuadrados con tecnología LED y una parrilla rediseñada para maximizar la eficiencia del flujo de aire. En la parte trasera, el modelo incorpora un difusor y tomas de aire para mejorar la refrigeración de los frenos y la batería.

Tecnología y electrificación
Renault 5 Turbo 3E se apoya en una plataforma eléctrica desarrollada por Alpine, con una batería de 70 kWh que puede recargarse del 15 % al 80 % en solo 15 minutos gracias a su capacidad de carga de 350 kW en corriente continua. En carga alterna, el vehículo se completa en unas ocho horas mediante un cargador de 11 kW.

El interior del Renault 5 Turbo 3E está pensado para la deportividad y la conectividad. Equipa asientos tipo baquet con arneses de seis puntos, una instrumentación digital con pantallas de hasta 10,25 pulgadas y el sistema openR link con Google integrado, que incluye navegación y planificación de carga en tiempo real.
Edición limitada
El modelo llegará al mercado en 2027 con una producción limitada a 1.980 unidades numeradas, en homenaje al año de lanzamiento del R5 Turbo original. Renault ofrecerá múltiples opciones de personalización en colores y acabados, permitiendo a cada cliente configurar su vehículo con el apoyo de diseñadores de la marca.
